Long Awaited Folsom Library Open Saturday
Folsom's new Georgia Murrary library will open its doors to the public Saturday Feb. 24 2007. Thanks to a sparky but humble Georgia Murray. With a life long passion for books she helped get the ball moving on the long overdue library. At 24,000 square feet and brimming with 12,000 books, CD's and DVD's there is sure to be something for everyone. The beauty of the building should not be overlooked, their use of clerestory windows allow guests to enjoy the beauty of the park while browsing for your next great read. Don't forget to stop off at the Folsom Zoo and hop on the train to make the most out of your day at our new Folsom Library! Many Thanks to Georgia.
